High school students from around the country have collaborated on the first two U.S. Air Force Collaboratory projects to great success. Thousands of ideas have been shared and the Air Force is working toward creating real solutions to real challenges.
Project 003: The Launch of GPS IIF is now underway, and we need students to help us complete it. Students have the opportunity to work with Air Force Space Command to help launch the newest GPS Satellite into space. Over the course of the project, students will calculate the precise placement of the new satellite into one of six orbital planes for a launch that will occur in the spring of 2014.
